Replaced 20 year old halogen under worn cabinets. About 2 years ago I switched to LED bulbs which fixed the heat issue but the individual light blocks became brittle from years of overheating. It seemed like an easy decision, and it was. I had to buy an extension cord with 4 extra 5ft wires because there are cabinets on either side of the kitchen (the cord ran through the attic/ceiling). Aside from drilling new holes in the cabinets for cable management, it was plug n play. When I was done there was an issue with some of the threads not showing all the colors but the tab in the 5 pin connector was bent and once I straightened it everything works great. I hope they last the 25,000 hour mark but other than that they were pretty cheap and I already drilled the holes so replacement should be easy in any case.
