Review on 👕 Electrolux Portable Handheld Garment & Fabric Steamer - 1500 Watt, Quick Heat Ceramic Plate Steam Nozzle, 2-in-1 Wrinkle Remover and Clothes Iron, with Cloth Brush and Lint Brush by Justin Albright

We bought this to freshen up our mattresses and bedding. The best we can say about it is that it looks elegant and classy. In terms of functionality, it could use some improvements. We love that it heats up quickly, has a nice long cord, easy to read controls, and produces vapor fairly efficiently. Unfortunately, we found that the steamer dripped a bit on the lowest setting. This happens despite the fact that we only use distilled water, and it happens regardless of how the steamer is oriented. On the high setting, we found that there was either minimal dripping or no dripping at all. My theory is that a higher setting can eliminate or prevent condensation from forming inside the damper body. Even so, the steamer will run out of water much more quickly at a higher setting. However, the main issue we had was that the latches for locking the steamer in the "ON" position and for locking the water tank did not hold very quickly. So, since we naturally tend to hold the steamer like a pistol-grip water hose nozzle (as opposed to the awkward way seen in numerous photos around the web), we found it too easy to release the steamer latch either unintentionally or accidentally release Press the button to release the water tank. While this last point may seem finicky to some people, I can add that a full water tank hurt when one day it fell out and landed on my bare foot. Speaking of the tank, it seems that a nice wide base that allows the vape to stand upright (another feature we liked) should have made it easier to build a much larger tank. Not a bad vape, but unfortunately we can't recommend it.
