For weeks I languished in this new, strange, closed booth. After many years of remote work, I was waiting for the opportunity to meet my colleagues face to face and to connect with people! It shouldn't have happened. cucumbers. Three times a day — that's an eight-hour work day, mind you — my neighbor crunches on cucumbers, and it only drove me nuts on my first day in the office. I couldn't continue. Should I tell her that cucumbers cause leprosy? Malaria?! My weak iPhone earbuds couldn't handle it and I couldn't just talk to you. It would be too direct. Then I found this.
