Let me start by saying that these cat caves are perfect for cubic organizers. At first it will collapse by itself, but given time it will hold its shape better. At first I was concerned I would have to return them (I bought 2, one for each cat) because when I tried to put them in they freaked out halfway. However, I added some catnip at the very end and my cat crawled in and settled in all by itself. I think it's from him. Basically let the cubes rise properly and put some catnip in at the very end. The cats take care of everything. Addendum: It took my elderly cat about a week to get into the cube but now it's his favorite spot. He spends at least 3 hours there every day grooming or sleeping while I do chores.
