Bought this pillow for my wife to use in her car as it doesn't have heated seats. He never made it to her car because she loves sitting in her computer chair so much. In my opinion, this device takes too long to generate heat. It's comfortable, may vibrate a little, and is fairly easy to use. I was expecting the heater to turn on quickly, but it takes about 10 minutes to even feel warm in a room that's around 70F. Extrapolated, it can take significantly longer to warm up in a cold car. It takes about 5 minutes to feel warm and about 10 minutes to feel warm. It reaches 100°F (tested with a laser guided thermometer). //It seems // it looks like it's going to last even longer with active heat and vibration. Be that as it may, you will be hard pressed to find a comparable product that heats up AND vibrates AND can be used from a car DC outlet or AC adapter. .
