Review on Canon EOS 5D Mark II Body Camera by Aneta Poss ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

case material has become more comfortable and pleasant to the touch than the previous model. the presence of video filming with a large matrix imposes its limitations. either shoot on a meager flu or clamp the aperture and get a video with maximum noise. it is not possible to adjust the aperture on autofocus lenses during movie shooting. True, you can put a manual lens and manage it yourself. in-camera JPG leaves much to be desired, frankly, of disgusting quality, again in comparison with competitors. but a very worthy 14-bit equal allows you to edit the file quite deeply. and get good results. but for this you already need to revive the head and arms. despite the general rejoicing, ISO 3200 cannot be considered absolutely working, since the detailing with this ISO drops many times. from the hair of the eyelashes and other small details there is absolutely nothing left of solid soap. To get a high-quality picture, you can shoot at 1600 or less. and above, unless then to shrink for the web or print in a small format. disgusting exposure bracketing solution of 3 frames and 0.3 stops. you need at least 1 stop and a choice of 3 to 5 frames. that is, if competitors can make a series with bracketing in 4 stops, then on 5V mark2 only 0.6 stops. It's just not serious on the part of the manufacturers.

Pros
  • the presence, albeit uncomfortable, but still video filming. high resolution of 21 megapixels. live view, although inferior in convenience to other systems, is still there.
Cons
  • low-quality intracameral jeep. disgusting creaky cover on the memory card compartment. focus bracketing is only 3 frames by 0.3 stops, just a frivolous decision . poor auto BB under artificial lighting, especially at temperatures below 3500 kelvin.
