Review on 🧼 Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Face Wash and Scrub - Botanic Tree, 10% AHA and Salicylic Acid Cleanser, 6 fl. oz by Lisa Adams

Most people who try a glycolic acid peel become "addicted" and start exfoliating (chemically, at least). Even as a skincare professional, I'm guilty of this. However, the small amount of AHAs (in the form of glycolic acids) in this scrub is gentle enough that I can use it every other day (and I have sensitive skin with rosacea). The granularity is like fine sand or powder - not at all harsh like apricot scrubs etc. Also, it SMELL GREAT, so fresh and unscented that it's imperceptible to other people, but has a mild scent during and after use.approx. 15 minutes after. It's always a good idea to use exfoliating cleansers in the evening to avoid exposing freshly exfoliated skin to antioxidant (environmental) damage during the day. Therefore I recommend the application in the evening, but NOT in the morning. For best results leave the scrub on damp skin for a few minutes (I leave it on while shampooing and rinse off after shampooing). since I skip a day or two between uses. In addition to this scrub, I use the 14% Glycolic Acid Serum (Alpha Skin Care - Intensive Renewal Serum) every other day once or twice a week. This is one of the gentlest chemical peels I have ever used and my face is smoother with improved skin tone without the tight feeling that heavier peels can bring. Finally found a goalkeeper! This fine-grain cleansing scrub is now the foundation of your skincare routine and I highly recommend it! ***EDIT*** Due to allergies I had to cut back on all SLS containing products and this product was questionable so I did some research. GREAT NEWS! The ingredient "disodium laureth sulfosuccinate" in this cleanser of mine is NOT considered a sulfate! HOORAY! So you can confidently call it sulfate-free! :) I feel so relieved because it really helps my skin and not only does it smooth out my face but I also use it on the back of my hand and it gets rid of those little bumps. I recommend it guys too!
