It sat in the basement for a few days and didn't retain a single drop of water, while the other unit we already hid a few ounces and they got the same day placed there.

Not Revain's fault. The packages are broken and wet in the box upon delivery. I'm trying to figure out how to get my money back. I have photos of the mess and can't return it because it's so dirty.

I put one of these in my HVAC closet next to another brand. This one collected ZERO moisture, but the other brand did. I don't recommend wasting money. Too bad I asked them both. If I could send them back I would.

After receiving this I opened it up a little over the lock to keep it fresh (nice touch). The bag's cheap packaging was torn, and thousands of beads were scattered in all directions. I managed to save about 1/2 cup. It doesn't look like the original Wet Reed at all. Pearls only. waste of money.

There's a lot of mold in my closet again. I looked at the container and saw that these guys had fused together and little moisture was being extracted from the air. Arm & Hammer replacement parts are hard to come by but I'll try as they work and this one doesn't.

Cameo bought because reviews said it was as good as Damp Rid. I bought both and used them in my bathroom. Damp Rid has an inch of water while Cameo doesn't have any. The kamea crystals appear to be "melting", so something is going on. However, I would say I would stick with Damp Rid.

I have been using DampRid for several years with excellent results. Unfortunately, the cost has gotten so high that I've been looking for a cheaper product that would give comparable results.
