I have been using DampRid for several years with excellent results. Unfortunately, the cost has gotten so high that I've been looking for a cheaper product that would give comparable results. The customer reviews on this product led me to believe this would be the one. With DampRid, he fills the reservoir with water monthly in my smallest bathroom and every two months in other large bathrooms. With this product, water does not accumulate in any bathroom after 4 months. Update I originally gave this product one star. What I didn't know is that this product holds a lot more water before it's released into the cup, which of course takes a lot longer to release. I'm giving it 5 stars now and have reordered it twice since the first review.
