Got these when my hands started to hurt playing Heive Ho which is quite dependent on shoulder buttons. They help more in this and make the game more comfortable if you play with a single joystick. Joystick caps are pretty good. The small ones appear immediately and add a little more grip, but are ultimately unnecessary. The larger ones are fine if you have a Joy-Con with a joystick in the middle, but I found them to fall off pretty easily, so not the best option, but they do a decent job. Overall I'm happy with them as a cheap solution for playing with a smaller controller if you have big hands.
