Review on Jerdon Lighted Makeup Mirror Magnification by Sirious Cavalli

This is the mirror I use every day to do my makeup. I bought it 3 times in total. POSITIVE The lighting is pretty strong, but in a good way. I want to be able to see blending errors etc and the lighting definitely helps with that. This is really good if you want to pluck or see individual pores and the like. There's also a slider that lets you change the color of the lighting, which can be useful too. The ability to switch between normal and enlarged mirrors with a simple twist is also very handy, and the side mirrors are a nice bonus. CONS First, the mirror is made of lightweight plastic. As a result, all this is not permanent. I had a plastic part on the back of the mirror (rear step?) that turns down for 2 of the 3 mirrors I bought. I was able to use tape and reattach the rear step but that was still a big problem. Second, the mirror style looks pretty dated. It is made of white plastic, which gets dirty quickly next to make-up and is difficult to clean due to its many nooks and crannies. Also, the font/other design elements look a bit cheesy, but that's just a picky observation. GENERAL I have bought vanity mirrors that looked much more elegant (oval silver mirrors) but none of them came close to the usefulness of this mirror. Overall I would definitely recommend this mirror for utility but it would be great if the style/design of the mirror could eventually be updated to fix the rear stage brittleness and just general design improvements.
