My unboxing experience was literally ruined by the strong chemical smell. After airing it out for a whole day, the smell is still noticeable. This alone was a serious cause for concern. From a functional point of view, the case is too big. First, you have to travel several weeks to justify using the charging station. Second, the toothbrush isn't exactly fragile, so good oral hygiene is the real goal. The chemical smell is a warning sign that this case could even be counterproductive in that regard. The only thing that really needs to be protected are the brush heads, which have little or no impact on the space or weight required when transporting. This case just doesn't pass the smell test.
