I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than putting a cup of water on a dresser. I filled it in, added a few drops of essential oils and why not? And it stayed full for three weeks, after which I shook it out and cleaned it because it got slimy. Honestly, it's not worth the cost. Just put a bowl of water in the room. Better yet, get an actual moisturizer! I'll do that next! Also, it didn't fit my standard size radiators and I had to forcibly bend the wires. They are very thick and it was a tedious process while trying not to hurt yourself.
