Do nothing. Best heating, cooling and air quality

I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than putting a cup of water on a dresser. I filled it in, added a few drops of essential oils and why not? And it stayed full for three weeks, after which I shook it out and cleaned it because it got slimy. Honestly, it's not worth the cost. Just put a bowl of water in the room. Better yet, get an actual moisturizer! I'll do that next! Also, it didn't fit my standard size radiators and I had to forcibly bend the wires. They are very thick and it was a tedious…

Snow Joe has held up well. I also inserted a pyrex container of water.

Bought Snow Joe in hopes of increasing the humidity in our home. When the temperature drops in the single digits, the humidity in our home drops to around 20%. We have old-fashioned forced steam emitters. Snow Joe has held up well. I also placed a pyrex container of water on the radiator. I've had the best results with a Pyrex container that I had to fill with water daily. While Snow Joe's water practically did not evaporate and did not contribute to increasing the humidity in the room. Great…

Not very good, very little

Cons: Plastic so doesn't get very hot to promote evaporation above normal water evaporation rate, doesn't sit flush with radiator, needs long thin spout to to fill it up as it is too heavy to take off / put back on for refueling. If you have curtains behind the radiator it interferes with closing (but all similar items do the same) Pros: Easy to clean as it's plastic, no power consumption, doesn't work not very visible when installed on the back of a radiator , I will not buy another. It's not…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I'm in an old building with old radiators. The grooves on this product are narrow and don't even come close to the wide grooves on my radiators, which means that hardly any water evaporates. When I was a kid we had them made of metal, they fit well and worked well. Both of those radiator humidifiers that I bought hoping they would work as well as metal humidifiers turned out to be virtually useless. If you have a radiator with narrow grooves, these can fit. I wish I could find metal wipes…

  • Suitable for many people

Poor design makes them ineffective

This product has several disadvantages that make it very inefficient. First, it's made of plastic and doesn't conduct heat well, so the water never gets very hot. Second, the humidifier's exposed water surface is very small, further reducing its effectiveness. Third, it's on the side of the radiator rather than on top, again preventing it from heating up. Finally, the clips that hold it in place don't really match the radiators in my home or office without modification. We have different types…

Does not fit on series cooler

I'm not sure which heatsink is used here. Certainly not the ones in my house. I have quite a few different radiator configurations (tall, short, wide, narrow). Most of them appear to be original from a 1915 home, but there is at least one that looks much newer. None of them are suitable for this device. The S-shaped hooks on them are not too narrow to reach the center of the radiator and snap into place. I don't think I've ever seen a heatsink that would match this device. Aside from not being…

Not great but worth it

Not the most brilliant review title but I think it's spot on. dough) - Has few advantages: - Doesn't rust (because it's plastic) - Does something, and it's silent - Cheap - No energy or filter costs - No maintenance apart from filling and cleaning once a year - Doesn't show whether it's working correctly on a appropriate heat sink "installed". Designed well enough. I have two different types of heatsinks and it works for both - one of the heatsinks holds three Snow Joes. For the first radiator…
