Not the most brilliant review title but I think it's spot on. dough) - Has few advantages: - Doesn't rust (because it's plastic) - Does something, and it's silent - Cheap - No energy or filter costs - No maintenance apart from filling and cleaning once a year - Doesn't show whether it's working correctly on a appropriate heat sink "installed". Designed well enough. I have two different types of heatsinks and it works for both - one of the heatsinks holds three Snow Joes. For the first radiator in my pictures, I bent the hooks twice; first by bending my arms at a 90 degree angle, then a second time I put the last 1/2 inch in the vise and bent it at a sharp 90 degree angle. Please note that pliers will also work - the metal is strong but malleable. The trick is that it sits flat on the radiators. This is why the second heatsink in my photos has a piece of trim behind the Snow Joe - maximum heatsink contact. Some reviews mention that the triangular waveform doesn't work - which is technically correct. Not ALL notches will line up, but some will be inevitable - and if they sit flat like above, you've made good contact. Note that my heatsinks are - It's hot water and they work just as well (obviously, but it says "for steam substations" on them). Bottom line: I have four on the ground floor and I reckon they will pay for themselves in a few years. For me it's worth it.
