I'm in an old building with old radiators. The grooves on this product are narrow and don't even come close to the wide grooves on my radiators, which means that hardly any water evaporates. When I was a kid we had them made of metal, they fit well and worked well. Both of those radiator humidifiers that I bought hoping they would work as well as metal humidifiers turned out to be virtually useless. If you have a radiator with narrow grooves, these can fit. I wish I could find metal wipes again, but until then I'm going back to using battery powered wipes.
