The PGY Tech Osmo Action case is a must have. If your action camera is going to be a do-it-all camera, I think this case has everything you need to meet your needs with expandable cold shoe mounts. It comes with two slots as well as a screw-on cold shoe mount. The memory card slot is accessible, as is the charging port, the only downside is that in this case the memory card is a bit difficult to pull out with the door open, but I chalk it up to my larger hands. In some other cases you also have the option to access the battery, but not in this case, it doesn't matter to me since I charge my camera. with an external battery in the camera grip. I love the look and function of this case as it expands my camera. I think this case will work fine. In the attached photos I am using an external light source as well as a microphone which has recently come in handy.
