Description of Optimized Camera Cage for DJI Osmo Action: Perfect for Vlogging and Photography – PGYTECH

Specially designed for OSMO Action, PGYTECH OSMO Action Camera Cage equips with a 1/4" thread, 2 cold shoe mount, an Universal Interface, suitable for vlogging video shooting. An action camera interface at the bottom of the cage connects any shooting device with a universal interface, such as a tripod or selfie stick. There are two cold shoes on the top and side of the cage respectively that offer access to the camera, light, and microphone. Detachable cold shoe with 1/4¡± thread connects the cage with a tripod in the vertical or horizontal direction, which allows for free switching between shooting models. The height of the top shoe can be increased with the help of the 1/4¡± thread cold shoe, so as to make sure the connection of a camera light will not influence the function of the camera. Hollow space is reserved on the side for power delivery, connections with microphones, or to replace a storage card. Note: Please carefully read the instructions before using. Very Durable: Bags and Cases

I bought this item because I wanted to use my VideoMicro and Flash on my Osmo Action Camera and it fits perfectly and is a very sturdy cage, feels secure and is plastic a good quality of material , and not cheap plastic as if broken. So I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks to the seller I will buy more of their products.

worth the money but do you know

Excellent product although the plastic looks cheap. The cold shoe is very beautiful, not satisfied with the sliding door design, you have to press it first and then slide it. But here's what's good. Two steep climbs, one threaded. The case doesn't properly secure the Osmo to the cage, so the screen could have been better protected, which is something I like about this design. Much better than the cage that comes with Osmo Action!

I love this PGYTECH cage for OSMO Action, it's way better than the cage that came with the camera. I like the sliding tailgate, it's not that difficult to remove. There are 2 cold shoe mounts, one on top where I mount the Lume Cube light and one on the side where I will mount the mic once DJI makes it compatible. PGYTECH also includes 2 cold shoe adapters, one is a height extender and the other is an internal tripod mount. Another plus is that they've allowed full access to the side door…

Seems to be pretty well put together. Allows use of Cynova external microphone adapter

Everything seems to be well made. Allows the use of an external Cynova microphone adapter. I love this product but if you are mounting your Osmo Action on a two handed mount you will need either 1/4" or 1/4" for action camera style gimbal mounts. or you need to turn the device over and attach the camera to the rig with the top cold shoe. The cold shoes are a nice touch for holding an external mic or whatever, but they don't snap in any way other than some rubber friction pads. from inside. Time

A must for Osmo Action!

The PGY Tech Osmo Action case is a must have. If your action camera is going to be a do-it-all camera, I think this case has everything you need to meet your needs with expandable cold shoe mounts. It comes with two slots as well as a screw-on cold shoe mount. The memory card slot is accessible, as is the charging port, the only downside is that in this case the memory card is a bit difficult to pull out with the door open, but I chalk it up to my larger hands.
