Everything seems to be well made. Allows the use of an external Cynova microphone adapter. I love this product but if you are mounting your Osmo Action on a two handed mount you will need either 1/4" or 1/4" for action camera style gimbal mounts. or you need to turn the device over and attach the camera to the rig with the top cold shoe. The cold shoes are a nice touch for holding an external mic or whatever, but they don't snap in any way other than some rubber friction pads. from inside. Time will tell if they will fit or if they will wear out. I've been using this for a while and after a few weeks I might like it. I will let you know if anything changes.
