I bring 3 dogs to work. I bought this to use in my office so I can keep my office door closed but still be able to keep my dogs inside. I have 2 small terrier mixes and a 7 month old husky. This gate does a GREAT job of keeping them all inside. The swing door feature is ideal as people are constantly going in and out of my office and I don't want them having to go through it every time. The gate itself is very solid and is currently leaning against the metal door jamb (the color matches perfectly, by the way). My 7 month old Husky, 42lbs, has a habit of jumping on the gate when excited. So far, so good. He didn't budge a bit of his strength. He's also big enough that my dogs can't jump out, not even huskies (although that's probably because he's young). It's all metal, so even if my dogs chew on it, no problem! It didn't even have a scratch. With the swing door feature, you can customize how tight or loose you want that door to be. Mine is relatively loose (because my office staff had trouble figuring out how to open it), so it opens quite easily with a little prying and pushing. Regardless, as long as you don't lift it, a simple push doesn't open the gate at all, so it holds my dogs very well.
