It has a subtle scent, refined but very discreet (it smells expensive but so quiet...) and it's really transparent, just like the bottle. It's thick, so if you apply it to wet hands in the shower, it stays there. does not expire and does not go down the drain. I discovered this after massaging it. Then I rinse it out a little longer than most other brands. As a result, the slippery and soapy feeling disappears and the feeling of "clean hair" sets in. Believe me. You will know when you feel it! Remove towel. A quick and medium drop of Skinny Serum is massaged in with the fingers, then quickly dabbed onto the hair and then placed under the blow dryer for a minute. and you are done.
