I prefer cotton but it comes in bolder colors and doesn't shrink. Nothing beats 100% cotton between the sheets. However, my cotton bedding tends to shrink over the years and I have not been able to find any multicolored cotton fabrics at Revain. I have several microfiber towels that I have used for several years that seem flimsy compared to my cotton towels. Also, they don't come out of the washer and dryer without cat hair (I have cats). Also, these pillowcases have already caught on my cat's claws and left marks. for textiles, but these boxes weren't marked as 100% bamboo when they arrived - they were marked as blended bamboo. I suspect the rest of the fiber is polyester microfiber. Lately I have become aware that non-biodegradable particles are removed from fabrics when washed and enter the ecosystem by ending up in the oceans. The amount of plastic in seawater is shocking and the situation is getting worse. Everything that says on the label is a mix of bamboo fiber and microfiber, and no percentage of either is given. Now that I think about it, I really think I should return them. These are very nice pillowcases.
