*Update* The fan survived 2 weeks of storage on a set of batteries, just died last night. 2 fresh D cells and working again. We are happy with that. *Original review* I bought this for my daughter to take to camp for cabin use with "limited" outlets. Like 2 for 14 kids. The fan is quiet at low speeds out of the box and offers decent airflow within a walking distance. About that far will he be from her when attached to the bunk bed.
