Review on Halo Wet Cat Food: Grain-Free, High Protein Formula for Cats by Aaron Franklin

I have been trying to find the best food for our three remaining cats as the eldest of them (17 years old) died at the end of July. He was diagnosed with diabetes in early July and switched to expensive insulin and changed his diet, but never got better; he got worse. Our vet thinks he may have had cancer too. I didn't want him to suffer any more. He and our other cats ate Purina One Sensitive Systems (dry) and canned Friskies Pate. Since then I have been frantically searching for the best cat food ingredients and have tried different brands which our cats have won. yes (Nature's Balance, Nutro, Halo, Dr. Elsey's, Purina Vet DM, Wellness Core, Instinct Ultimate, Blue Buffalo Wilderness). They were questionable with Wellness Core and Instinct Ultimate in the can so I'm going back to those two but I'll try Instinct Grain Free Original instead of Ultimate. He will arrive tomorrow. The last "experiment" was last weekend. I ordered and received 12 cans (3 ounces) of this Halo Holistic Grain Free Natural wet cat food for adult cats for our cats to try as the top ingredient for Fancy Feast (they really like FF but the phosphorus is really too high). I opened the first jar two days ago and they don't touch it. Everyone sniffs and leaves. They don't even come back to it later. It's a very bland food, almost like baby food, so I put one of the jars in the fridge overnight to see if they would eat it today (sometimes it works with very wet food), but they still won't eat it once when they are very hungry.
