Heats up very quickly so no more waiting for the curler to heat up. It's small so it's easy to maneuver. It's quite wavy for my short hair, which is exactly what I want. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the cable. Cable. The cord on this thing is ridiculously long, probably 30 inches longer. As a result, it falls low enough to snag on the closet door when I try to use it. It's also very heavy and with all the extra length I have to be careful that the curlers don't slip off the stand. Finally, I tied about 28 inches of line at the end of the fork, which still leaves me almost 5 feet of line to work with. But at least I don't trip over it.
