Review on Waterproof Bench Seat Cover for Dogs 🐢 and Pets - Fits Cars - PetSafe Happy Ride by Jill Ellis

Great product at a good price

This hammock replaces the previous one we bought from one of the big pet stores. The Solvit waterproof hammock is just as good, if not better, in almost every way. It rains quite often here in the winter, and we occasionally take our dogs to the beach, so they're often wet (and a bit gritty) when they get into our mid-size SUV. The leather seats stay nice and dry and are mostly gravel free (a little slip through the seat belt holes). The hammock covers the back seat nicely from end to end and top to bottom. Dogs can lie down easily and this discourages them from getting into the front seat well. In the previous hammock we had a zipper that allowed the dog to get into the front seat. We never used it, the zipper kept opening and there was no real way to secure it to keep it from opening. The zipper has finally failed, so it's time to find a replacement. The Solvit hammock was cheaper and the quality was just as good, if not better. Plus.no flash! There were two small minus points, which means four stars. It smelled faintly of chemicals for a day or so, but after it weathered it was fine. The previous hammock had plastic buckles (like those used on backpacks) on each of the four straps that wrapped around the headrests. We liked it because it was easy to install and remove. Solvit hammock straps do not have buckles; only with tuners. So when you install them on each headrest, you need to loosen or tighten them to remove or install them. It's a bit cumbersome, but doesn't bother you. Our dogs are happy. And we are happy! Recommended.
