My wife chose these after extensive research (she's bought every one of us). I didn't pay much attention to it until she made up her mind and bought her. First, they are quite attractive and come in a variety of colors. They also appear to be long-lived. More importantly, they are functional. The zip opening is at the top so you can access your belongings if you leave them in your bag on the hotel bathroom counter. The cavity is surprisingly large, although the external dimensions aren't that impressive. I can store all my stuff there, including an electric razor. There is a hook so you can hang it up if needed. And it wasn't very expensive either. It must satisfy the needs of all but the most demanding consumers.
