UPDATE: This tablecloth never looks ironed after being washed. I've steamed and ironed it (several times) but it doesn't look fresh and flat. It's still pretty, but if you want to look sophisticated, this isn't the table runner for you. Luckily it was cheap. This table runner is exactly what I was looking for and in a reasonable price range. I bought a white runner. It's not absolute or true white (I like it because I don't want it to be too white, but I didn't want cream either). I would describe it as off-white. It looks beautiful on my dark wood dining table. It is packaged so beautifully that it is easy to give as a gift. I steamed it to smooth out the creases, but if you want it to look crispy it needs to be ironed.
