bad reviews. Come to the people. This is for hard contacts, not soft ones. Also, you won't be using this for everyday use, I've had hard contacts for 20 years and they fall out easily. I don't care if that thing is $20, it's worth it! During my early contact lens years, my hard contact lenses sometimes slipped out of place. Oh and wow. Oh, because it hurts like hell when it's stuck to a part of the eye that shouldn't be there. Phew, because I feel like my contact lens is about to roll back into the back of my eye. I bought one of these last year and went back today to buy another one as unfortunately I had to use it today. Last night my toddler accidentally punched me in the eye, breaking my hard contact and sliding up from the front of the eye. So I tried not to panic and grabbed the plunger, after a few minutes I was able to lower the lens to the inner corner of my eye. From there I was able to pull it out with the butt. Yes this thing sucks a lot, make sure it is clean/dry and pointing towards the center of the lens. If I didn't have that handy I'd have to try to get enough suction under the lens with my nails to take it off. I would be glad if I hadn't scratched and damaged my eye in the process. In short, what are your eyes worth to you? This product is worth it and I'm picking up another one for my wallet "just in case". If you have hard contact lenses and have ever dropped them in a sink or surface and couldn't take them off without moving them, just imagine sliding them over your eye. Not funny.
