Review on Optimized for SEO: Planet Bike Borealis Cycling Gloves by Christopher Clearfield

Revainrating 5 out of 5

but I feel like I should only wear 4 pairs of gloves.

I've noticed that my hands are sensitive to cold. I can get by with a jacket and leg warmers under 30 but feel like I have to wear 4 pairs of gloves to keep them from burning. My riding partners are usually good with regular gloves, but I'm not so lucky. It sucks, but it's reality. I've tried several pairs of gloves (Neoprene, Gore-Tex, Thinsulate) and none of them worked the way I wanted them to. I tried them because of the 20 degree reviews I read and decided they would be a golden goose. Well, to be honest, they weren't, but they were better than anything I've tried. The two layer design is good, especially when I found that if I removed the fleece lining, my regular 40 degree gloves would fit in, so this will be my next challenge when the cold returns (this is TX; one day it will be a 32 degree trip , the next is 52 .). They are cozy; They were a bit stiff at first, but after a ride they loosened up a bit. I still want to find something better, but for now this is enough. To be honest I would give them 4.5 stars just because of my bad luck but for most cyclists they are perfect for their cold rides.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Little things
