Good gloves but run small

I like these gloves but they run small. Actually, I can't use the liner that comes with it. Should have been a size bigger. But the deal was so good and they worked so well for me that I kept them. I use my wife's in-ear gloves and they fit better. I only need earplugs in very cold weather like 10 degrees or colder when it's windy. There is no wind and 10 and warmer and in the main glove is normal (for me). Hands/fingers can be inconsistent. In a minute they're freezing and in a minute they're…

Best winter cycling gloves I have

I have worn out a pair of Planet Bike gloves I bought 4 years ago. The originals had a suede bottom and thin lining that stuck to my fingers and pulled out after riding. Size XXL was big enough for my long fingers and they were comfortable. They were good for 38-45 degree days. After wearing out the first pair I bought 3 different much more expensive gloves thinking I could find something better. None of them were as good as this one. This new pair is even better than the originals. Palm…

A decent cheap glove that lacks comfort.

These gloves offer excellent protection from moderate to strong winds and are lined to keep your hands warm. Plus they're cheap. True, the shape of the glove is not very successful - in the palm area there is a lot of excess material, which is uncomfortable when holding the steering wheel. In addition, the glove slips off the wrist, adding even more extra material to the palm area and making the situation worse. The glove is the correct size (fingers on the end) so size is not an issue…

but I feel like I should only wear 4 pairs of gloves.

I've noticed that my hands are sensitive to cold. I can get by with a jacket and leg warmers under 30 but feel like I have to wear 4 pairs of gloves to keep them from burning. My riding partners are usually good with regular gloves, but I'm not so lucky. It sucks, but it's reality. I've tried several pairs of gloves (Neoprene, Gore-Tex, Thinsulate) and none of them worked the way I wanted them to. I tried them because of the 20 degree reviews I read and decided they would be a golden goose…

Decent Winter Bike Gloves

Let me start by saying that I live in western Wisconsin and will be cycling about 3 miles back and forth to class almost every day this winter. I'll also preface this by saying that I may have Raynaud's which causes a lack of blood flow to my extremities in cold weather so basically all the gloves I wore below 20 degrees Fahrenheit didn't keep my hands warm . Other than that, they're definitely the best I've had for cycling. I also have a pair of leather gloves and a pair of wool gloves/mittens

Cool design concept but more like 2 1/2 stars on execution

Great gloves, love their versatility BUT they don't like to keep my hands warm when it's windy!? I'm lost these are really good gloves and the 2 piece option is really good but on windy days when the temps are below freezing (so less wind chill) my fingertips get cold and then my whole arm for 20 minutes. I wear them on calm but very cold days with no problem, but when it's windy I sometimes wonder if they're even worn. The benefit is that you have a balaclava which I will replace with military

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Promising gloves; too narrow for finger length

I think these gloves deserve a 3.5 rating. I'm guessing these are factory seconds, but at $15 each, the price is right. I've only driven it 26 miles so these are just my first impressions. I'll update my comments later this winter when I get a chance to use them in much colder weather conditions. Disadvantages: - Factory second. A few cosmetic issues (right index finger is longer than left etc) but I don't see these issues as affecting the gloves' usefulness or durability. The width of the palm

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Disassembled but good customer service.

Update 4/22/16: After separating the outer glove from the cuff, I contacted Planet Bike. They asked for photos, after several emails finally agreed to send a new pair of gloves. Pretty good customer service. Update: All information below is still relevant. The gloves performance is great but my gloves are now peeling off where the glove meets the wrist cuff. In other words, it's torn. To make matters worse, I bought them during the so-called Christmas sales and as of January 31st I can no…
