They are a lot stronger than I thought they would be which is great as my wallet and grocery bags can be quite heavy. This prevents the bags from falling out. The hooks simply slide onto the headrest post (no need to remove them), have an optional small "guard" to keep them from accidentally detaching, and can be easily pivoted back-to-front so I can adjust them as needed can change where all passengers are seated. I'm short and some of the other models looked like I'd have to raise the headrest to fit, but these didn't have to, except a few millimeters. The most used one is on the front passenger seat on the pillar next to the center console. Now all my friends want one too! They make a great stocking-type gift for Christmas (if they can wait that long!).
