This product is listed, advertised and sold as a flat, high speed Cat6 model and it really is. All other higher quality 24 AWG Cat5e and Cat6 products mention PoE (Power over Ethernet) at the end of a long list of identical features, but due to the small 30 AWG cable there is no way to power the device at the other end this option, especially at a distance of 150 feet. So the good news is that I was able to reconfigure my security cameras to use a narrow cable, move my remote router much farther, and use the better, shorter cable I had available to connect the PoE to the antenna associate. It works well, only had to splurge in the afternoon due to the lower quality of the $25 part. Sorry but it's too expensive to ship back and it takes a long time to order a new one to Hawaii.
