Weird turtleneck seam

I’m confused by this sweater. It honestly fits fine, definitely sized up but the collar is odd. Maybe I got a defective sweater but the seam is on the side of the turtleneck part of the sweater and is pretty obviously indented. I don’t know why the placement is there and plan to return.

I really love this sweater and cannot wait to wear it if it ever cools down.

May not be warm enough for harsh winter weather

Love the sweater but after approximately 5 wears the pilling is terrible. It’s on the under arms, across the front, looks terrible, and sloppy. Tried “shaving” it, doesn’t work. Very unhappy
