Instead of buying a bassinet for our room, we decided to go this route. It was so comfortable and I love it! I have no assembly experience (the baby was early so my parents set it up for us) but it seems pretty easy. A small bassinet/sleeper was ideal for a baby's first month of life. And the presence of a changing table was a great option for night changes. It was great that we didn't have to go to daycare to change her clothes. At about 5 weeks the baby was getting too big to fit in the bassinet so we removed it and now it's sleeping in the paddock. The only complaint is that it's a bit larger than I expected for a backpacking game. I've seen similar kits with the same inserts, just a little smaller. It's about the size of a small cot.
