So helpful. Pre-drill a small hole and then screw them into the wood below deck by hand.

I used a drill to drill a very thin small hole in my deck joists and then manually screwed them into the small hole below deck. Flashlight Sunlight and I still have a bunch of extra hooks left over for other projects. I love them and I could totally buy more of these for more projects. That is a lot. Overall I would recommend them.
