Beautiful and powerful

This is a good powerful computer that comes with everything you need to get started. Setup was simple and straightforward: just plug everything in and turn it on. It took me 23 minutes from opening the box to starting a video call with a friend. I appreciated the fact that the computer came with a wired keyboard and mouse, but agree with other reviewers that wireless would have benefited the aesthetics. Features: The display cannot be touched. In my opinion, such a computer should really have a touch screen. Brightness isn't perfectly even: the edges of the screen are slightly dimmer than the rest of the screen. Also, the display portion of the screen doesn't reach the plastic frame, but turns black by about 3/16 inch. otherwise (product images are inaccurate in this regard). According to my measurements, the display area is only 85% of the total front area, and not 90% as stated in the description. This is still higher than most other displays I've used. The screen only tilts up and down; it doesn't rotate about the other two axes (lateral and clockwise) and doesn't have an adjustable height. The webcam is pointing too high; When I tilt the screen comfortably, my face is centered about 1/3 from the bottom of the video frame. There's no way to set up the camera without tilting the screen, so you'll need to tilt the screen a bit lower for video calls, than you want. The privacy cover is pretty cool though. When it's closed, a small red circle is visible. Unfortunately, when you slide the lid all the way, the circle is off-center. However, it does not affect functionality in any way. The optical drive is DVD, not Blu-ray, which is a bit disappointing. I've thought about connecting a Blu-ray player to the HDMI port, but the port is for output only, not input, so that's not an option. The SSD is lightning fast, but only holds 256 GB. Even less after installing Windows. After installing a few basic programs, I was left with only 185 GB of free space. If you use this PC to store games, videos or photos, you probably need more storage space. As another reviewer also pointed out, there is an option to add another 256GB SSD; For M.2 SSD replacement instructions, refer to the hardware manual on the website. There is also a 1TB HDD slot. Lenovo doesn't seem to advertise any of these options, nor have I tried them, so I can't guarantee they'll work. Discs are also expensive. If speed isn't your concern, an external hard drive might be your best option. The wire clip is a bit awkward to attach. You need to align it correctly with the small grooves in the metal stand. Speed: With a 4-core AMD processor and 8 GB of RAM, this is enough for my needs. I booted up the virtual machine hypervisor and was able to run the Ubuntu OS from the Windows OS without any problems. In other words, I fully emulated a second (virtual) computer running Windows 10 and the computer did a great job. Portability: Before I got the computer, I wondered if I could travel with the computer if the stand was removed. The computer ships with the stand already securely attached; You can remove the stand, but you'll need to remove the plastic cover and unscrew a few screws. Even without a stand, the computer does not fit in a standard case. It's not a particularly easy process. I don't know if you had the same ideas as me, but I don't think this computer is meant to be portable. Overall: I'm happy with the speed and functionality of this computer, but it's not great. the rest as you like. The webcam over the center, the fact that the optical drive is a DVD only, the tiny 256GB of storage, and the uneven lighting on the screen make this a far from perfect computer. But if you don't need anything out of the ordinary and you don't have to, however, remove the plastic cover and unscrew a few screws.
