Very comfortable sandals, similar to the yoga mat material. I am 7 months pregnant and I can go all day wearing these without my feet hurting. My only complaint- they are a little too big. I am normally a size 7 (which is the size I ordered) and my feet tend to slide forward with these because there is a slight height to the heel so I have to readjust my foot otherwise I have this big gap at the heel part of the sandal. I was leery to return for a size 6 since that seemed really small for me so I just kept the size 7's. I have slightly wider feet and these are perfect for me.
