Review on Foster Grant Wes Multifocus Men's Rectangular Glasses: Enhance Your Vision in Style by Amy Fuhrman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ok but overpriced.

Pros: Multiple magnification, anti-reflective coating, fancy Cons: Fragile, overpriced, doesn't have the tint of Gunnar-style computer glasses (maybe a plus for some) Conclusion: I bought these hoping for prescription glasses for Gunnar-style readings that would help me to free my eyes from daily computer work. they are definitely stylish. Although the lenses don't have the tint of "gaming glasses", they do have a nice anti-reflective coating. If you want computer glasses to prevent eye strain but don't want tinted lenses, this might be an option for you. However, I ended up sending mine back for several reasons: a) the lack of lens lines made me feel like I was always looking at the wrong part of the lens where the magnification changed; b) I was afraid that I would break them. and for $35-40 I think they should be more durable. c) After using computer glasses without correction for some time, I got used to the amber tinge that these glasses don't have. It's all subjective and I could see that someone else really likes these glasses. After all, I would probably keep them if they were cheaper. But for my $35-$40 I can get 2 or 3 pairs of titanium or memory anti-reflective goggles that last MUCH longer.

Pros
  • Non-Polarized
Cons
  • Unreliable
