Following the installation of Poppy 12, it feels like "finally a real laptop." The Poppy 12 suffered from a number of issues, the most important of which was that it appeared to be a child's plaything. Everything is just as it should be, and although it is smaller than the previous firmware, it still feels satisfyingly huge and is not a toy. Performance with an i5 for the eyes, and 16 GB of RAM are sufficient for all jobs, including running a few virtual machines simultaneously. To my good fortune, I have not had any issues with USB 3 and WIFI; instead, I make use of the DELL DA 200 adapter for both HDMI and network connectivity.
