I used this product as a ceiling light in my house. I installed 12 units and they light up the house very well. The color temperature was ideal at 3000K; it was neither too dark nor too bright. It's almost like decorative lighting, but with the added benefit of extra security. The total output of all 12 lamps is 12 watts, which costs less than leaving a light bulb on all night. I bought a mechanical timer and the light comes on automatically from 7pm to 5am. I used 16 gauge wire around the cornice. I removed the vents and routed the wire inside so it wasn't visible. The double-sided velcro allows you to stick the blocks without changing the structure of your house. Use silicone to fill any holes that bugs could get into the mount.
