I rarely write reviews but this product requires someone to educate buyers about my experience. Don't be fooled by adverts that suggest easy installation with magnets. When I first plugged it in, the power connector detached from the circuit board inside rendering the light useless. This is because the power connector is not soldered to the board, just glued to it. The light comes with four pieces of metal (two inch round and two inch square) with tape to secure the light where you want it. Also, there are two magnets in the rod that should match the metal pieces you plug into to install the light. The problem is that the tape is useless and the magnets slide into the lightstrips, making it almost impossible to mate with the metal parts to install anywhere. So given the bad circuitry, bad design and bad products, this is a very bad product. Very disappointed and thank goodness I only bought one to test first. I originally wanted to buy a couple of these for under cabinet lighting.
