The thing squeezes some air.

On the last hike I used this air pump to inflate 4 double air mattresses and 2 queen size air mattresses and deflated at the end of the hike. Took about 2-3 minutes per mattress on over half the battery. With all this, the volume of the pump is not very quiet, but that is to be expected with excellent performance.
