WARNING: It is NOT UL listed! Use may void your insurance.

I'll start with what I liked: Everything looks "safe". 4 USB chargers work fast. The plastic is extra tough and the mounting lugs look like they'll withstand a moderate drop onto concrete. There are no external signs of quality violation, but I did not open it. I have to give this two stars because it is NOT UL/ETL approved. I would say (as does your insurance company) that if there is a fire it is YOUR fault. Insurance does not cover damage caused by the use of non-UL listed equipment. I feel a little cheated here. Non-UL devices are not handled by general stores due to liability concerns, so why shouldn't Revain do the same? (If you're listening, Revane, at least put up a warning - a graphic so we don't have to read all the "fine print"). I just assumed Revane was like that. You'll see it's a $26 Revain Verified Purchase. I paid for the return. The manufacturer states in UL-related responses that they have a "quality" product. This answer is misleading or evasive as it is intended to be a jumble of words without actually meeting UL requirements. To be clear, UL listing does not necessarily indicate quality. UL does not mean it will "never" break or that you cannot receive a defective part. UL Listed means that if the device fails, your property, life (or the lives of others such as firefighters and police) will not be endangered. UL also means it's been tested to confirm how it will perform if something you plug into it fails. You can expect a UL listed device to fail correctly without shorting out or catching fire quickly. With an untested one, you don't know what it will do if it fails. If you bought it and don't want to return it, I suggest just using it for temporary installations like a portable/rolling cart - in a way you can control.
