I live in a hot climate and my feet need ventilation when I work outdoors (maintenance of large areas, mowing, trimming hedges and ropes, mud movement). . I live in shorts and flip flops. My previous gaiters had velcro and a bottom strap. The tape was gone after a few days. The Velcro soon began to clog with debris. I exchanged it after a while. They ended up resorting to wrapping it with electrical tape to keep it closed. No more Velcro! You have a flash. They sit perfectly over the shoes and don't get dirty. I'm 6ft 1in, average ankle size. They're not too narrow, but narrow enough. The only thing I want is for them to be BREATHABLE like they claim. It's not like this! Maybe if I wash them a few times it will get better? They feel more like a "textured" fabric than a crinkled ripstop fabric. Maybe it's intentional to shed dirt and stay in place, which is what happens. But so far they are EASY to put on and take off! KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! OPEN! (Without the bottom strap, I zip in from the front and fasten, then rotate 180° back where to wear). And they seem to be made well enough. And they stay in place. don't bully me For those who don't live in harsh, hot climates, they should be great.
