This chair is not for cat owners. I have observed cats stretch and leave permanent scars/holes. It's been assembled for a few weeks and it doesn't look that cool anymore. Mistake: I sat down in a La-Z-Boy trolley chair for the same price (it was on sale) after purchasing it from Staples and immediately regretted my purchase. . It doesn't have the support or comfort of the LB. Shipping: It arrived without a piston and after waiting a few weeks I paid $25 for a replacement myself. The huge box was almost destroyed in transit and the chair was very poorly packed meaning I couldn't return it even if I wanted to. Also, the chromed plastic part covering the middle of the bottom of the chair is broken.
