I read other reviews before purchasing these scissors. They are not as magical as some describe. I am not a professional and do not claim to be omniscient in this area. But I can also subtract common sense. The scissors are sharp, but not quite sharp. They will struggle to cut the average amount of hair. They are great for trimming my young sons hair, but I had a hard time keeping my passes straight on my daughter's longer, thicker hair. I succeeded, but wish they were a little stronger and sharper. For the price they are worth it.
