Too much cable noise

12/04/2015: I just can't get rid of the cable noise. Give it to a young man who listens to very loud music and doesn't notice it that much. I actually had a much better pair that came with my ROKU with rubber cords that made no noise. I'll look for something similar instead. 12/11/2015: After posting my review, I received a call from Symphonized customer service. They reminded me about the guarantee and offered to return the money. While I understand that it makes sense to contact people who leave less than rave reviews, these days it's still good to see a company that cares how their product is received enough to contact a buyer, to offer a refund. . The cables on the ears work well enough when I'm at my desk to minimize noise. The hissing is imperceptible in rock music, disturbing in quiet passages such as classical music and very noticeable in music that is not being played. Cable noise aside, the sound is very good, the fit and comfort are excellent, and the small carry case is a real plus. I've changed my rating to three stars based on: 1. Excellent customer service; 2. The fact that the noise of the cable can be partially reduced by throwing the cables over your ears; and 3. value for money, including accessories and above average sound at such a low price. Symphonized also referred me to another product of theirs (Symphonized DRM Premium Premium Natural Wood Noise Isolating In-Ear Earphones with Mic) which they claim has less mic effect.
