Aside from the price being higher than I would like but still matching the quality, this is a great food for my dog. If he had a choice, he wouldn't eat anything else, but we do. His old food stamp was placed next to this one and he immediately settled on this one and treated it like it was a treat and not just food. I don't find it appetizing, but he likes it. His old brand has more color, but it's all brown. brown of the same color. I have a big dog and he eats 2 bowls a day (small bowls but hey). If I let him, he'll eat too much of it. At the moment he is still getting used to this food because he has a sensitive stomach and I don't want to puke or throw up all over the house. And it really happened when my kids gave him two EXTRA bowls of new food. He couldn't resist, but he tried through no fault of his own. Just too many changes, so suddenly. However most days he would rather fast than eat the old brand but we need to use it and make sure he doesn't get sick just getting the new one but he eats the old brand when he has . We decided to change his skin. No we don't expect the lining to solve this problem but he didn't shed when we got him and has done so all the time. His fur is very dry and he had dandruff. After much research, we found that his diet may contribute. We're already seeing a significant improvement in his coat, although he's still shedding a lot. I assume it will also make him healthier overall. Note: The old brand is the one you get from Walmart in the wholesale section. The cost is about $20. So it's almost double the price for the same amount, but with the joy and energy he's become, it's worth it!
