"Short " in the cable or monitor. I do not know
Set up this monitor in January 2020 even though it was purchased in late 2018. I kept it literally brand new in the box until ready to use. The problem is that I have to constantly maneuver the display's power cord to make it work with my laptop. There is definitely a problem, be it just the power cord or the monitor itself. Not happy with it!
